Hugo Marchadier, Attorney at the Paris Bar

Hugo Marchadier is a tax attorney at the Paris Bar and an associate at Alphard Law. A graduate of the Master 2 in corporate taxation at Université Paris-Dauphine, where he now teaches, he works across the firm's international tax matters, from advisory work through to litigation.

His practice focuses primarily on international private wealth taxation: structuring and transmission of cross-border wealth, trusts and foreign structures, reporting obligations of residents and non-residents, and voluntary disclosure of assets held outside France. He also advises on the taxation of executives and entrepreneurs, in particular equity incentive schemes, and on the taxation of digital assets.

He takes part in the firm's contentious matters, from responses to reassessment notices through to representation before the French administrative courts, and contributes regularly to the analyses published in the firm's Perspectives section, notably on the emerging litigation over the social surtaxes of SASU companies taxed under the income tax regime.

His teaching at Master 2 level at Paris-Dauphine sustains a standard of documentary rigour that he applies to every matter: every analysis delivered to a client is sourced and verifiable.
